Job summary

Springside Special School in Rochdale requires two Teaching Assistants at Level 3+ on permanent contracts. The roles cover 32.5 hours per week, term-time pattern, across nursery to Year 6 and across sites as needed, supporting learners with complex needs.

You will work in a supportive team, delivering engaging activities, promoting communication, wellbeing and personal development, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or 9-4 or equivalent.
• Relevant Level 3 qualification or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
• Ability to converse in English to support learners and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality targeted support to learners with complex needs.
• Assist across nursery to Year 6 and across Springside sites as required.
• Support learning activities, wellbeing and personal development within a team.
