Job summary

Springside Primary Special School seeks two Teaching Assistant Level 1+ to support pupils with complex educational needs across Nursery to Year 6. The roles are temporary and require working across multiple Springside sites as needed.

Successful candidates will help learners feel safe, engaged and included, providing encouragement, reassurance and practical support throughout the day, in a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C (or 4-9) or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
• Level 2 qualification QCF (or NVQ prior to 2010) in Teaching and Learning.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with complex needs across Nursery to Year 6.
• Assist with learning activities, engagement and inclusive participation.
• Work across Springside sites as required.
