Job summary

An educational organization in the Manchester area is seeking a Teaching Assistant for KS1. The role offers a supportive environment where the assistant will help deliver engaging lessons and support children's learning both in groups and individually. Candidates with a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification are preferred; however, previous experience is not essential. This position entails working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with a remuneration of £90 to £105 per day.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a KS1 Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
  • Confident in working with children on a 1:1 or group basis.
  • Able to provide an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to put one into process.

About the role

We are looking for an KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Manchester area. Whether you are starting a career as a Teaching Assistant or have past experience, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Supporting children on a group and 1-1 basis
  • Leading interventions and occasional class cover
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning
  • Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a supportive team culture
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an KS1 Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential
  • Required to have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Inspirational role model who is highly motivated and reliable
  • Confident in working with children on a 1:1 or group basis
  • Able to commute to Manchester
  • Able to provide an Enhanced DBS check or be willing to put one into process
