Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS and KS1 at a primary school in Selly Oak, England. The role involves assisting with phonics, literacy and maths groups, and running small interventions tailored to individual needs.

You will work closely with teaching staff to support children with SEND, maintain a positive learning environment, and provide personal care when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UK school setting (EYFS/KS1) preferred.
• Ability to support literacy and maths interventions.
• Experience working with children with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Support children across EYFS and KS1 within a primary school.
• Assist in phonics, literacy and maths groups and run targeted interventions.
• Provide personal care and assist with toileting as required.
• Work with teaching staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
