Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS and Key Stage 1 in a Tamworth primary school. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted interventions and assist with phonics, literacy and Maths in line with pupils' needs.

The role involves personal care, supporting children with SEND, and helping create a safe, inclusive classroom. A Level 3 qualification and experience in a UK school setting are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in education-related field.
• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across EYFS and Key Stage 1 as part of the main class.
• Assist with phonics, literacy and Maths interventions.
• Support children with SEND and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to track progress and welfare.
