Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS and Key Stage 1 in a Tamworth primary school. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted interventions and assist with phonics, literacy and Maths in line with pupils' needs.

The role involves personal care, supporting children with SEND, and helping create a safe, inclusive classroom. A Level 3 qualification and experience in a UK school setting are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in education-related field.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and confident Teaching Assistant to support children across EYFS and Key stage 1 at a Primary School in Tamworth. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and committed to providing high‑quality support to all pupils.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to pupils in EYFS and Reception class, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, physical disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. You will assist in as part of the main class for phonics, literacy and Maths and be confident running group interventions and structured support in line with each pupil’s needs. You will also need to be happy to do personal care and assist with toileting.

Essential Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to form supportive relationships with pupils
• A patient, proactive and empathetic approach
• Be available for work As soon as possible
