Engage Education is recruiting an Apprentice Classroom Support Assistant for SEN schools in Manchester. This Level 3 apprenticeship runs for 11 months with paid work and a fully funded Level 3 qualification, delivering hands-on classroom experience while supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2.

You will work alongside teachers, provide 1:1 and small-group support, help deliver engaging activities, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ (or equivalent) preferred
• Interest in gaining a Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group classroom support to pupils
• Assist teachers with delivering engaging learning activities across the curriculum
• Support pupils with reading, writing, maths and other classroom-based activities
• Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and communication development
• Provide additional support for children with SEN and additional needs, where required
• Assist pupils with individual learning targets and support plans
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

Engage Education is recruiting a staff member to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship based in one of our SEN Schools.

This is a dedicated 11-month apprenticeship programme, providing the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across the primary age range while working towards a recognised Level 3 Classroom Support/Teaching Assistant qualification.

We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual who is fully committed to signing the learning agreement and completing the full 11-month programme.

Key Responsibilities
