The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, with at least 6 months of experience. This secondary Alternative Provision in South Birmingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with challenging behaviours and social, emotional and mental health needs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, understands the barriers young people face, and remains calm under pressure. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students on a 1‑2‑1 basis, managing behaviours and helping them to regulate their actions. The position requires prior experience supporting young people who have faced academic or social barriers.
