Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support welcoming primary schools in Hednesford on a day-to-day supply basis. You will help with Literacy, Numeracy and general activities, building strong relationships with pupils and staff.

Ideal candidates will have UK primary school experience, Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent), and comfort working across EYFS to KS2 with adaptable, friendly approaches to learning and behaviour management.

Qualifications

• Experience working in primary schools in the UK.
• Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification, or relevant experience.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Experience supporting children with different learning abilities.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Supporting the class teacher with classroom activities and lessons.
• Helping pupils develop literacy, numeracy and social skills.
• Effectively manage behaviour and classroom engagement.

Responsibilities

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work with welcoming and supportive primary schools in Hednesford on a day-to-day supply basis. The schools provide positive, inclusive and engaging learning environments where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children across the primary age range and is looking for flexible work within local schools.

Our clients want to appoint dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, from Reception through to Year 6. Responsibilities in these roles include supporting the class teacher with daily lessons, assisting pupils with their learning and development, and providing 1:1 or small-group support where required. You may work across different year groups, helping pupils with classroom activities, literacy, numeracy and general engagement. The successful candidates will need to be adaptable, confident working with children and able to build positive relationships quickly.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:

• Experience working in primary schools in the UK
