Job description

Full time Teaching Assistant needed from January for a 6-week role at a supportive Primary School in Wolverhampton. This Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone with an EYFS qualification who is confident working across Nursery and Reception. Job Role
  • Provide general classroom support across EYFS, including Nursery and Reception.
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging early years activities.
  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to aid learning and development.
  • Encourage communication, independence, and creativity in young learners.
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating and well‑organised learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Required Skills and Experience
  • EYFS qualification is essential.
  • Previous UK school experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting Reception, EYFS, Nursery, Primary School, KS1 or KS2.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and early childhood development.
  • Ability to work closely with the Class Teacher, SEN team, and wider staff.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a healthy work life balance.
  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3.
  • Experience working as a TA in early years or Primary School settings.
Benefits
  • £88.92 to £106.93 per day, which equates to £17,339.40 to £20,851.36 per annum based on working 5 days per week for a full school year
