Overview

Due to recent growth in the department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to develop and implement the Payroll Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship (ST0073). This role will involve designing, planning, and delivering a high-quality programme that meets industry and learner needs.

This role is a part time position - working 22 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver apprenticeship standards: Accounts/Finance Assistant Level 2 (ST0002), Assistant Accountant Level 3 (ST0073), Professional Accounting Technician Level 4 (ST0608).
  • Deliver equivalent part time AAT qualifications at Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • Plan, development, delivery, and formative assessment of AAT students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Support apprenticeship programmes by visiting employers and delivering accounting training to adult learners as required.
  • Embed the college\'s values: Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, High Expectations, Responsibility.
Requirements
  • Experienced accounting or payroll professional with a passion for education, or an industry expert looking to transition into a training and assessment role.
  • Experience with designing, planning, and delivering apprenticeship programmes (preferred).
Details

A full-time post carries 828 delivery hours on an annual basis (pro rata for part time hours).

The salary will be within the Delivery scale ranging £31,000 - £41,616 per annum for qualified staff; £28,764 per annum for unqualified staff. Pro rata salary for part time hours. The pro rata salary will range £18,432 - £24,744 per annum for qualified staff; £17,102 per annum for unqualified staff.
