A local academy is seeking a Temporary Teacher of PE to cover maternity leave, starting March 2, 2026. The role involves teaching students aged 11-16 with a range of special educational needs. Temporary maternity cover – 1‑year, start 2nd March 2026.
Salary: MPS/UPS £32,916 to £51,048 + SEN 1 Allowance £2,787.
We are part of Horizons Specialist Academy Trust, which includes 8 academies and serves over 1000 students aged 5–18 with a broad range of learning difficulties.
Abbey Hill Academy & Sixth Form serves approximately 360 young people, specialising in students aged 11–18 with a full range of learning difficulties and other physical and social needs.
The Academy seeks a Teacher of PE to cover a maternity leave, teaching students aged 11-16 with a broad range of special educational needs.
