Winchburgh Academy seeks a Teacher of English for a permanent, full-time position. Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2022, designed to promote twenty-first-century learning, creativity, and digital technologies. The school features sports facilities of the highest standard, including sports halls, a 25m swimming pool, and artificial grass outdoor pitches.
The school initially opened with a S1 cohort, with anticipated growth each year to reach a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. In August 2025, the projected roll is approximately 260 students (S1-S4), with a potential expansion to a maximum capacity of 1,210 pupils. As of August 2025, the staff includes about 20 teachers.
