Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2022, designed to promote twenty-first-century learning, creativity, and digital technologies. The school features sports facilities of the highest standard, including sports halls, a 25m swimming pool, and artificial grass outdoor pitches.
The school initially opened with a S1 cohort, with expected growth to reach a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. In August 2025, the anticipated roll is 260 students (S1-S4). Future expansion plans may increase capacity up to 1,210 pupils. As of August 2025, the school employs approximately 20 teaching staff.
