A leading educational institution in Winchburgh seeks a dynamic Teacher of English to join its innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative, critically reflective, modern, and forward-thinking Teacher to join a new school team in a state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2023. The successful candidate will support the leadership in creating an inclusive, ambitious, and distinctively Catholic school culture with a future-oriented curriculum that incorporates twenty-first-century pedagogies and digital technologies. The school also features shared sports facilities of the highest standard.
The school initially opened with an S1 cohort, with anticipated year-on-year growth to reach a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. A future expansion strategy may increase capacity up to 1,210 pupils. The post holder will initially support relevant curriculum areas across both Sinclair Academy and Winchburgh Academy.

This position involves Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, with costs covered by the candidate. The fee for full PVG Scheme membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
