Teacher of English, Sinclair Academy, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date: 26th May 2025

This post has a start date of 11th August 2025 (subject to completion of all recruitment checks)

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, creative, critically reflective, modern, and forward-thinking Teacher to work as part of a new school team in a state-of-the-art secondary school that opened in August 2023. The successful candidate will support the leadership in creating an inclusive, ambitious, and distinctly Catholic school culture with a future-oriented curriculum that incorporates twenty-first-century pedagogies and digital technologies. The school also offers shared sports facilities of the highest standard.

The school initially opened with an S1 cohort, with expected year-on-year growth reaching a capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. There are plans for further expansion, potentially increasing the roll up to 1,210 pupils. The post holder will initially support relevant curriculum areas across Sinclair Academy and Winchburgh Academy.
