The Opportunity

We’re hiring for a Trust & Estate TaxManager/Senior Manager firm wide in our NY, NJ, MA and FL offices. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

• Research, comply, plan and administrate the following: fiduciary income tax returns, estate & gift tax returns
• Direct tax seniors and staff accountants; ensure that assignments are accomplished within the budgeted time
• Interact with clients to discuss issues regarding tax information throughout the year
• Develop technical knowledge through participation in organization meetings, training programs, attending industry events and participation in research activities

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience; previous experience in public accounting preferred
• Ability to manage staff on multiple engagements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA or EA license required.
• Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects.
• Proficient with a computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, Tax software, ProSystems Engagement and CCH Axcess.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
