Job summary

BramahHR Ltd is seeking a capable HR generalist with strong hands-on recruitment experience for a Birmingham-based, office-based role with probation period on-site. After probation, there is an option to work from home one day per week.

The position includes end-to-end recruitment responsibilities, HR advisory duties, and involvement in employee relations and lifecycle administration. A CIPD qualification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Solid generalist HR background with hands-on recruitment experience.
• Ability to manage vacancies independently and source candidates proactively.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy brief to onboarding.
• Proactively source candidates via job boards and CV databases.
• Screen applications and conduct initial interviews; build shortlists.
• Coordinate interview process with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare offers, contracts and onboarding documentation; perform pre-employment checks.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Support employee relations activities including absence, performance, discipline and grievances.
• Assist probation reviews and broader lifecycle administration.
• Maintain HR and recruitment records and support HR reporting.
