Job summary

Probus Recruitment is seeking an HR Advisor (Employee Relations) for Birmingham and the West Midlands. The role focuses on casework, investigations and advising managers across multiple depots with a strong emphasis on employee relations.

You will manage complex cases, apply UK employment law and drive practical, compliant HR processes while travelling between depots. The role offers hybrid working and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Approximately three years or more of HR advisory or employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical application.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent, or current study towards this level.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers on employee relations matters from referral to resolution.
• Handle disciplinary, grievance, capability, conduct, attendance and performance cases.
• Plan and conduct impartial workplace investigations and prepare written reports.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations and support absence/ROW processes.
• Maintain confidential records and contribute to HR improvements.
