Talent Acquisition - a core function of our People team - is responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring the fantastic employees who help make Starling a success.
We are hiring for a Talent Acquisition Partner to support our Banking function here at Starling Bank. As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will work collaboratively with the Banking team and focus on supporting our hiring needs as we continue to execute on our ambitious growth plans.
This role will be based in our London office.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Partnering with your stakeholders and the wider People team to scope, and define hiring requirements and build a TA plan to meet these needs
Managing the end to end recruiting process to provide a great candidate experience, including sourcing, shortlisting and conducting first round interviews; evaluating candidates and providing feedback; through to offer negotiation and on-boarding
Work closely with the wider team to build, and manage MI to help drive data driven decisions about our sourcing strategy and hiring process
Help raise awareness of Starling Bank, being a brand ambassador and always looking for new ways to showcase Starling as an employer of choice
Work on ad hoc projects as required
Requirements
A strong track record in recruitment, preferably in-house, with knowledge. Experience of recruiting Banking roles in the financial services industry is essential
Ability to work at pace, things move fast here at Starling so you'll need to be comfortable working quickly
Strong knowledge of the local marketplace for talent. Building relationships for both immediate and long-term hiring needs
You'll bring tangible evidence of driving improvements in candidate experience. Coaching hiring managers; working with other business areas as needed; or even making simple changes, are things you'll be able to reference
You should be a strong communicator, both written and verbally and be passionate about what we are trying to achieve!
Have the ability to work at pace, things move fast here at Starling so you'll need to be comfortable working quickly
Negotiating and influencing is a big part of hiring. You will be able to do both (with candidates and hiring managers alike)
Evidence of being able to manage and prioritise your own time is essential
Attention to detail. It's the little things that matter, you should be able to demonstrate giving great candidate experience
Be data driven and look at ways to ensure we are being proactive with hiring across technology
