Job description

Tomanage the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies within the businessarea you are responsible for, engaging with hiring managers, candidates, andsuppliers. You will be responsible for sourcing key talent for the businessusing a variety of methods and will have full ownership of your own roles.

Asignificant part of this position is to focus on stakeholder management,partnering with your business area to advise and support anythingtalent-related. You will be expected to communicate with both internal andexternal stakeholders whilst providing a fantastic candidate and hiring managerexperience.

Your New Role

Principal Accountabilities:
  1. Workcollaboratively with hiring managers adopting a consultative approach tounderstand their hiring needs.
  2. Draftjob descriptions & place adverts that enhance Ipsum’s brand andemployee value proposition (EVP).
  3. Maintainup to date knowledge in innovation developments in candidate attractionand sourcing channels to ensure we have in place the right people with theright skills when we need them to meet our growth objectives.
  4. Managecampaigns and employer branding initiatives to engage and attract diversetalent pools.
  5. Managethe end to end process and have responsibility for all vacancies withinyour business area
  6. ScreenCVs and applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and createshortlists of qualified candidates for roles.
  7. Manageselection processes, ensuring robust and consistent candidate assessmentsto appoint appropriately skilled candidates to roles.
  8. Scheduleand coordinate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  9. Activelymanage talent pools to generate a supply of candidates for critical andhard to fill vacancies
  10. Activelypromote the internal referral scheme
  11. Showcasejob vacancies and business/recruitment achievements across social mediachannels ie LinkedIn
  12. Responsible foradhering to the recruitment SLAs and escalating any issues/blockages tothe Head of Talent Acquisition if needed for resolutions to be sought
  13. Providea best in class candidate experience through timely and effectivecommunication and feedback.
  14. Maintainand update the ATS at all times throughout the hiring process.
  15. Usedata-driven insights to refine candidate attraction and hiring processesto deliver high-quality candidates.
  16. Measurehiring manager and candidate satisfaction.

About You

Required Qualifications & ProfessionalMembership(s):

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Bachelor’s degree in HumanResources, Business Management, Psychology, similar or equivalent(desirable)
  • Associate or Chartered CIPDprofessional membership (desirable)

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven success in asimilar role, ideally operating within Utilities or Infrastructure orsimilar sector.
  • Demonstrableexperience managing end-to-end recruitment within a high-growth,multi-site organisation.
  • Experience ofheadhunting and passive candidate engagement.
  • Expertise insourcing, interviewing, and assessment techniques.
  • Understandingof recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
  • Experience withApplicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other technology solutions to supportthe attraction and recruitment process.
  • Knowledge ofinclusive hiring practices and UK employment law.

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Demonstrableability to build strong relationships with and influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to manageboth high-volume operational recruitment and specialist/ professionalhiring.
  • Ability toeffectively generate and communicate recruitment metrics (e.g.time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness) for decision-making.
  • Results-focused.
  • Passionate aboutdriving standards and candidate experience.
