Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a highly capable Control Room Tactical Lead to steer security operations within a busy Control Room. You will advise on incidents, coordinate resources, and ensure accurate resourcing data while communicating with senior management.

The role demands strong judgement, analytical ability, and the confidence to influence at all levels, with a 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern and a £50,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security, control room, or operations management.
• Proven ability to produce and quality-assure detailed reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication under pressure.
• Ability to assess incidents and provide tactical advice.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to obtain DV and NPPV security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Civilian Guard Force within the facility Control Room.
• Provide tactical advice and guidance during security incidents and events.
• Monitor ongoing security operations and recommend appropriate responses.
• Support the management of incidents, escalations, and operational decision-making.
