Overview

Our client is looking to hire an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Global Talent Acquisition to lead their worldwide recruitment function. This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing talent acquisition strategies that meet current and future workforce needs across multiple regions. The position requires a leader who can build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, drive operational excellence, and foster a high‑performing, collaborative team culture.

The successful candidate will come from a tech background having proven success in hands‑on senior and executive search delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and long‑term workforce plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a geographically dispersed talent acquisition team to deliver high‑quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Oversee global sourcing activities, leveraging a range of channels to attract diverse and highly qualified talent.
  • Establish and implement robust candidate assessment and interview methodologies to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Drive continuous optimisation of the end‑to‑end recruitment process, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and compliance with relevant labour regulations.
  • Support the design and global rollout of a new applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Use data, analytics, and recruitment metrics to evaluate performance and inform decision‑making.
  • Stay current with recruitment technologies and industry trends, implementing tools and best practices that enhance the hiring experience.
  • Champion the organisation’s employer brand, promoting culture, values, and career opportunities to prospective talent.
  • Manage the talent acquisition budget to balance resource needs with cost efficiency.
  • Continuously review and improve talent acquisition practices to support organisational growth and competitiveness.
Professional Requirements
  • Proven success leading international talent acquisition teams across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute global recruitment strategies in fast‑paced, complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
  • Experience managing high‑volume recruitment across a range of roles and functions.
  • Full understanding of the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, assessment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Skilled in analysing talent market data, salary benchmarks, and competitive insights.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (ideally Workday Recruiting) and recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading teams across cultures, time zones, and regions.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
