Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support secure IT programs of national importance. This role involves working with stakeholders to manage requirements, shaping delivery strategies, and mentoring junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in requirements management and be SC Cleared. The position offers a competitive rate of £500 to £600 Outside IR35 or a full-time salary equivalent of £80,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Strong background in requirements management and verification/validation.
• Knowledge of MBSE (ArchiMate, UML, SysML) and requirements tools (e.g. DOORS).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

iO Associates are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Systems Engineer to support secure IT programmes of national importance. This role covers full lifecycle – from requirements analysis through to design, testing, and validation – in a dynamic, client‑facing consultancy environment.>

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute test and integration plans.
• Support delivery across multiple project stages.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to practice development.

What you’ll bring
