We are working with a leading Bristol based Defence SME who require a DV cleared Systems Engineer for an immediate 6 month contract.

Due to the nature of the work and start date this role requires active DV clearance. If you are currently a Systems Engineer with a background in MOD architecture and delivery processes and your contract is ending within the next couple of weeks - please apply with latest CV for immediate review.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• More than three years’ hands‑on experience working in a systems engineering capacity within technically demanding projects.

• Adept at interpreting, evolving, and managing system requirements while effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders through flexible communication approaches tailored to audience needs.

• Demonstrated capability in planning and implementing test and evaluation strategies to ensure solutions meet both functional and performance expectations.

• Practical experience applying model‑based design principles, with familiarity in frameworks and notations such as SysML, UML, and ArchiMate.

• Proficient in utilizing requirement lifecycle tools (e.g., IBM DOORS or similar platforms) to ensure consistency, traceability, and compliance across project phases.
