Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) seeks an experienced investment professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and support delivery of a sustainability-led Investment Strategy. The role involves overseeing LPPI as our pooling partner and reporting to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.

We manage over £5 billion of assets for 40,000 members and value an inclusive workforce with flexible working arrangements and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Experience in investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investing and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital and its relevance for investing.
• Understanding of LGPS and pooling.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the Fund's strategic investment direction.
• Oversee the pooling partner LPPI and investment implementation.
• Monitor investments across public and private markets.
• Advise on climate/biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Represent the Fund in meetings and public forums.
