Job summary

The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an experienced investment professional to help keep the Fund at the forefront of responsible investment and deliver a sustainability-led Investment Strategy.

You will oversee the pooling partner LPPI, monitor investments across public and private markets, and engage with members, committees and external partners to ensure delivery of the Fund’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience investing across asset classes with a focus on responsible investment.
• Understanding of climate science and biodiversity in investment decisions.
• Knowledge of LGPS, pooling, and pension fund governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to the strategic direction of the Fund’s investment approach.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide oversight of LPPI’s work and reporting to Investment Oversight Group.
