The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking a senior investment professional to oversee its investment strategy and to supervise the pooling partner LPPI. You will advise on climate-related and biodiversity impacts of investments and report to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.

You will line-manage one staff member (Investment Analyst) and collaborate with teams in Bristol, London and beyond, with flexi-working and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible and impact investing.
• Strong understanding of climate science and natural capital and its relevance for investing.
• Knowledge of the LGPS and pooling.

Responsabilités

• Oversee LPPI to ensure delivery of the Fund’s Investment Strategy.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversee investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on LPPI work through bilateral partnerships and reporting to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Engage with members, media and public on investment approach and represent the Fund in meetings.
