The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an experienced Investment professional to oversee LPPI and help deliver a sustainability-led Investment Strategy. Based in Bristol with flexible working, the role focuses on responsible investment across asset classes and engagement with the LGPS pooling framework.

You will manage a team within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance Directorate and contribute to governance and reporting to committees while traveling to key locations as

Qualifikationen

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Strong understanding of climate science and natural capital and its relevance for investing.
• Knowledge of the LGPS and pooling.

Aufgaben

• Provide input to the strategic direction of the Fund's investment approach.
• Identify and discuss green growth opportunities with LPPI.
• Monitor and oversee investments in public and private markets.
• Advise on climate change and biodiversity impacts of investments.
• Provide assurance on the work of LPPI through partnership working.
• Report progress to the Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on our investment approach.
• Network across the finance community and represent the EAPF in meetings.
