The Environment Agency Pension Fund (EAPF) is seeking an Investment professional to oversee the pooling partner LPPI and contribute to the Fund’s responsible investment strategy. You will provide assurance, report to governance groups, and engage with members, media and external partners.

Based in Bristol with flexible working arrangements and opportunities to travel to London and overseas as required. The role requires experience in investing, communications and knowledge of LGPS pooling.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of investing across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of responsible investment and impact investing.
• Knowledge of climate science and natural capital and its relevance for investing.
• Familiarity with LGPS and pooling and the public pension fund context.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the work of LPPI to deliver the Investment Strategy.
• Report progress to Investment Oversight Group and Pensions Committee.
• Respond to member, media and public enquiries on investment approach.
• Represent the Fund in meetings and public speaking engagements.
