Overview

Sustainability Manager
£58,000 to £66,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)
Remote, based in Manchester with occasional travel to our Manchester city centre office where required

We're looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our Property team.

What you'll do
  • Provide subject matter expertise on sustainability strategy, plans and operations across the business
  • Provide advice on waste, circular economy and biodiversity
  • Support the delivery of the Property climate mitigation and adaptation agenda
  • Provide technical advice on sustainability standards and specifications
  • Support the development and delivery of our Property Sustainability Strategy
  • Build positive relationships with internal partners, engaging with technical experts and translating information into clear and easy to understand language
  • Lead working groups, and collaborate with colleagues and supply chains across multiple teams
This role would suit people who have
  • Previous relevant sustainability experience, including proven success in delivering sustainability action
  • Experience in biodiversity net gain, climate resilience, the waste hierarchy and circular economy principles
  • Experience in change management with the ability to manage complex initiatives
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences
  • The ability to interpret data and generate insights
