Overview

We’re looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to join our ES&B team, reporting to the Sustainability Manager and working closely with the Sustainability Reporting & Compliance Manager and Chief Sustainability Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in driving forward our sustainability strategy and initiatives across the firm.

What you’ll do
  • Supporting our Zero as One campaign by drafting communications (news articles, emails, presentations) and keeping our intranet and website content up to date.
  • Helping deliver our Equip, Engage, Act programme to raise awareness and build skills across the firm.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for our global network of Sustainability Champions – coordinating meetings, gathering feedback, and helping them deliver local projects.
  • Assisting with sustainability reporting and disclosures (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP, UNGC CoP, TCFD, TNFD, Responsible Business Report).
  • Responding to client due diligence requests and supporting sustainability input into bids and pitches.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting on sustainability data (carbon emissions, energy, water, waste, travel, and purchased goods & services).
  • Providing administrative support including:
    • Secretariat duties for the ES&B Steering Committee
    • Monitoring the Sustainability inbox and responding to colleague queries
    • Supporting award submissions and events
What we’re looking for
  • A strong interest in sustainability and environmental issues (experience in the legal sector is a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong data skills – confident in Excel (pivot tables), analysis, and data visualisation.
  • Clear, engaging communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks and ensure smooth running of processes.
  • An interest in wider ESG topics such as diversity, equity & inclusion, community engagement, social issues, and access to justice.
What’s in it for you
  • Join an award-winning global firm with a strong track record across practice areas and recognitions.
  • Be part of a truly international team with cross-border collaboration.
  • Career progression and development through structured learning, secondment opportunities and internal mobility across global offices.
  • Inclusive, supportive culture with commitments to community, DE&I and purpose-driven work.
  • Modern, flexible working arrangements with a balance of office and remote working.
  • Perks including life assurance from day one, season ticket loans and wellbeing initiatives.
