Job summary

Blue Triangle is a social care organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and enabling them to thrive. The role of a Support Worker is to provide practical and emotional support in a safe, supportive environment at the Alexandria service in West Dunbartonshire.

You will work on a 35-hour weekly rota, with opportunities for progression, CPD, and SVQ3 funding. Applicants should have a genuine passion for helping people and be willing to register with the SSSC within 3 months of

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people.
• 1 year experience with vulnerable people or similar.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.
• Willingness to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard apps.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide safe, secure, supported housing for homeless people.
• Maintain and update records and documentation per policies and timelines.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews.
• Provide advocacy and guidance to help occupancy conditions be met.
• Support individuals to achieve personal outcomes and independence.
