Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Support Workers to join our team across Supported Living services, helping adults with learning disabilities and autism live more independently in their own homes and in the community.

No prior care experience is required as we hire for values and provide tailored development paths, including Care Certificate and apprenticeships. Roles are paid at £12.75 per hour for a 16-hour week with a £500 refer-a-friend bonus.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate character with a genuine desire to help service users lead fuller lives.
• Recruitment is value-based; care experience not required.
• Ability to stay positive during challenging days and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead an active life aligned with their wishes and care plans.
• Help keep service users safe and safeguarded from abuse where possible.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with daily tasks, finances, medication, personal care, and community activities.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report issues to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and maintain welfare of others.
