Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting Specialist Support Workers to join our team across supported living services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as in the community to live as independently as possible. The role is paid at £13.20 per hour, equating to about £28,828.80 per year based on a 42-hour week.

We value care, learning and development, and offer pathways like the Care Certificate and apprenticeships. A £500 refer-a-friend bonus is available.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months working within care
• Values-driven recruitment approach
• Ability to stay positive in challenging days

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans
• Help keep service users safe and report safeguarding concerns
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach
• Assist with social activities, finances, medications, and daily tasks at home
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers
• Accurately report issues related to care and wellbeing
• Comply with health and safety regulations
