Job summary

Eden Futures in the United Kingdom is seeking a Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in their own homes and in the community. You will help people live as independently as possible, following personalised care plans and safeguarding practices.

The role covers day and night shifts (2 x 15 hours per week) with a £12.75 hourly rate and a pro rata annual equivalent. A UK driving licence is required, and there is a £500 refer-a-friend bonus.

Qualifications

• No formal care experience required; values-based recruitment.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with wishes and care plans.
• Help with safeguarding and welfare to protect service users from abuse.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, practical tasks at home and personal care.
• Act as informal contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues affecting health and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safeguard others.
