Job summary

Eden Futures is recruiting male support workers across our supported living services, in clients' own homes and in the community, to help individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs live as independently as possible.

The role offers a values-driven culture with growth opportunities, including e-learning, training, and tailored development plans. A full UK driving licence is essential. 21-hour week translated to an annual pro-rata figure is shown for illustration only.

Qualifications

• Evidence of caring and compassionate nature with a genuine wish to help service users.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and plans.
• Help service users stay safe and safeguarded.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with activities, finances, medication, practical tasks, personal care and health needs.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and responsibilities.
