Job summary

Eden Futures is seeking dedicated Support Workers for waking nights to assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role covers in-home supported living and community activities, with a strong emphasis on values-led recruitment and staff development.

You will be part of a compassionate team, working to enable individuals to live more independently, with training and progression pathways available.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate mindset to support adults with complex needs.
• Willingness to work in a nurse/healthcare support environment.
• Ability to stay positive and patient in challenging days.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life per their plans.
• Help keep service users safe and safeguard their welfare.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medication, and personal care.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record care and wellbeing information.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and welfare of others.
