Role

Support Worker – Brecon, Crickhowell

Location & Hours

Brecon and Crickhowell. Part‑time (minimum 20 h/week) or full‑time (max 40 h/week). Shift pattern includes weekends and sleep‑ins.

Salary

£12.74 per hour. Sleep‑in shifts £60 per night. Travel expenses 45p per mile.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will support individuals to make their own choices and set goals, from everyday decisions to life‐changing milestones. You will:

  • Help people achieve their personal goals and daily tasks.
  • Deliver structured activities that build confidence and new skills.
  • Assist with responsibilities such as paying bills, maintaining homes, being good neighbours and staying connected with friends and family.
Requirements

No experience required – full training provided.

  • Patience, empathy and respect for personal care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to act on behalf of clients and liaise with professionals.
  • Good written skills and record‑keeping empathy.
  • Full driving licence (essential for transporting clients).
  • Own vehicle and willingness to provide business insurance; mileage 45p per mile paid.
