SUPPORT WORKER – SUPPORTED LIVING

Hours: Part-time, 22 hours per week

Located in Llandybie

About the role

Whilst fully embracing the company ethos Support Workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.

  • To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
  • Promote the health, well‑being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
  • Facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
  • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
  • To undertake this role, you will be required to hold a full UK driving licence.
About the service

Supported living services provide people an opportunity to live an independent life in their own home.

Cartref Croeso care home is situated on the outskirts of a small village called Llandybie. It is an 8‑bedroom property with 8 individual flats, tailored to the needs of the people we support.
