Job summary

Komplex Community is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker to empower adults with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs in their own homes across the West Midlands, Shropshire, and Staffordshire.

You will support with daily tasks, promote independence, and provide a calm, reliable presence during challenging times. A Full UK driving licence and prior care experience are preferred; full training and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence
• Experience in care or support (desirable)
• Show compassion and resilience
• Confident with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours
• Good communication and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning, and budgeting
• Promote independence through meaningful activities and community access
• Provide emotional reassurance and a calm, reliable presence during difficult times
• Record progress and monitor developments
• Work 12-hour shifts, including waking nights, to ensure consistent and high-quality care
