Zusammenfassung

Komplex Community is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Cannock, Staffordshire. You will help adults with autism and learning disabilities live independently at home, supporting daily tasks and routines with compassion.

You will work 12-hour shifts, including waking nights, with a full UK driving licence preferred. The role offers training, wellbeing support, and a strong commitment to person-centred care.

Qualifikationen

Full UK driving licence required.
Experience in care or support is desirable.
Compassion, resilience and emotional intelligence are essential.
Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.

Aufgaben

Support individuals with essential daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning and budgeting.
Encourage independence and build confidence through activities and community access.
Be a calm, reliable presence during difficult times and provide emotional reassurance and structure.
Promote routines and relationships that help people feel safe, respected and included.
Monitor and record progress and celebrate small wins daily.
Work 12-hour shifts, including waking nights, to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
