Job summary

Komplex Community is recruiting a Support Worker in the Wolverhampton area to empower adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs to live independently with dignity. You will join a hands-on team delivering person-centred care in home settings.

The role involves 12-hour shifts, including waking nights, and requires a Full UK driving licence. Training and career progression opportunities are provided within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

Full UK manual driving licence.
Minimum of one year’s experience in care or support (desirable).
Compassion, resilience and emotional intelligence.
Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, personal care, cleaning and budgeting.
Encourage independence and engagement in meaningful activities and community access.
Provide calm, reliable presence during difficult times and offer emotional support.
Promote routines and relationships to help clients feel safe, respected and included.
Monitor and record progress, celebrating small wins daily.
Work 12-hour shifts including waking nights to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
