Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Widnes, WA8 (7 minutes’ Drive from Widnes Golf Club)
Hours: Full-Time - 37.5hrs a week

Pay: £13.78p/h

We’re looking for exceptional Support Workers to provide dedicated support for a lady in her 30s to live her life independently, support with daily living skills, prompting and promoting personal hygiene.

This role is an opportunity to make a real impact, supporting someone with autism and obsessive‑compulsive behaviours. You’ll help her lead a fulfilling life by understanding her unique needs and providing both practical and emotional support.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building a strong, trusting relationship to provide day‑to‑day support.
  • Encouraging and participating in activities, such as going for walks (she loves the colour blue!).
  • Supporting with daily routines and managing behaviours of distress.
  • Delivering emotional support with patience and understanding.
  • Providing transport; a valid driver’s licence is essential.

This role involves driving the person’s Motability vehicle, so you must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to meet all Motability Scheme requirements. This includes being over the minimum age, having the appropriate licence category, and meeting insurance criteria set by Motability.

Shifts

  1. Monday – Friday 7am‑10am and 2.30pm‑10pm
  2. Saturday/Sunday 7am‑10pm

Please note, flexibility is required, as there is the possibility of no guaranteed finish at 10am.
