Job summary

SIS is recruiting Support Workers for a mental health supported living scheme in Stone, Staffordshire. You will support individuals to achieve their goals in a semi-independent living environment, with a focus on patience and compassion.

• Level 2 health & social care qualification or willingness to work towards it.

The Support Worker role

About The Service

Sherwood House is a new refurbished service which has 12 one-bedroom, self-contained apartments based in the town centre of Stone, close to local amenities and transport links. For the individuals we care for, this may be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills. Whilst challenging, there is lots of opportunity for the successful candidate to help improve people's lives and build an excellent team around the service.
