Job summary

SIS Care in Stockport is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will help residents with daily living and be part of a service that supports people with complex mental health needs.

The role is based at Heaton Lodge near Manchester, with opportunities to cover days and nights. We offer DBS paid for, a strong pension scheme, career progression, recognition schemes and NVQ training.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health care settings.
• Experience working in a supported living service.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.
• Level 2 NVQ is desirable but not essential.

Job description

SIS Care have an exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.45 per hour.

Applicants must be able to work Days and Nights to cover the needs of the service.

Overseen by four directors with more than 35 years’ experience in the NHS mental health and business sector, we are a leading social care provider offering supported living services for people with complex mental health needs. Our goal is to help people live independent lives through the delivery of bespoke care packages, backed by supported housing options.

The Support Worker role:

Heaton Lodge provides 19 rooms with shared facilities. There is a communal lounge and conservatory with 2 large kitchens, gardensto front of the house and gardens to rear of the house. Heaton is close to Manchester and Stockport. There is also a bus stop a few houses down from the service. Heaton Chapel train station is only an 8minute walk from Heaton Lodge service.
