Job summary

Solutions in Service Ltd is seeking dedicated Support Workers for a brand-new complex service in Macclesfield. Join a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in a bespoke, high-quality care setting.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to promote independence, manage challenging behaviours with PBS, and help clients build essential life skills in a safe environment. Flexible day/night shifts and bank hours available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification or willing to work towards it.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Passion for making a difference and empathetic, adaptable approach.
• Self-motivated with creativity and initiative in care settings.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Support individuals with complex and enhanced mental health needs
• Proactively manage challenging behaviours, including those linked to forensic backgrounds
• Promote independence using a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach
• Help individuals develop essential life skills in a safe, supportive environment

About the Service

This service supports individuals transitioning from long-term placements in secure settings, rehabilitation units, and forensic environments. For many, this will be their first step towards semi-independent living.
