Job summary

SIS Care invites applications for a full-time, permanent Support Worker at Heaton Lodge, near Manchester and Stockport. The role offers a competitive salary of £13.45 per hour and requires working both days and nights to meet the service needs.

We provide bespoke care packages for people with complex mental health needs and support independent living within a shared housing setting. DBS is funded by SIS and career progression is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Passionate about making a difference in care.
• Experience within Mental Health.
• Experience working within a Supported living service.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.
• Level 2 NVQ is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to residents with complex mental health needs.
• Assist with daily living and activities in a supported living setting.
• Work across day and night shifts to cover service needs.
• Contribute to delivery of bespoke care packages and monitoring of residents' progress.

SIS Care have an exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.45 per hour.

Applicants must be able to work Days and Nights to cover the needs of the service.

Overseen by four directors with more than 35 years’ experience in the NHS mental health and business sector, we are a leading social care provider offering supported living services for people with complex mental health needs. Our goal is to help people live independent lives through the delivery of bespoke care packages, backed by supported housing options.

The Support Worker role:

Heaton Lodge provides 19 rooms with shared facilities. There is a communal lounge and conservatory with 2 large kitchens, gardensto front of the house and gardens to rear of the house. Heaton is close to Manchester and Stockport. There is also a bus stop a few houses down from the service. Heaton Chapel train station is only an 8minute walk from Heaton Lodge service.
