Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Support Worker for Bilberry Lodge in Lancashire. The specialist residential service supports vulnerable women with complex mental health needs in a calm environment. The role includes twilight shifts and full-time hours, with a pro rata salary of £25,400.16 per annum.

You will build relationships with residents, support rehabilitation programs, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining clear communication with the clinical team. DBS check required.

Experience working within the mental health sector essential Bilberry Lodge is a specialist residential service providing rehabilitation, care and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues. Purposefully small Bilberry Lodge has capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment.

What you'll be working:

Twilight shifts Full-time hours - 37.5 hours per week Long days including weekends. Shift times - 13.00 - 01.30 12.5-hour shifts. £25,400.16 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata

What you'll be doing:

• Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way
• Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme
• Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary
• Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
• Communicate any issues to the clinical team
• Accurately report and/or record work activities

What you'll have:

• A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Experience working within the mental health sector essential
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
