Job summary

Acuity Care Group in Oldham is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist an 18-year-old man with complex learning disabilities, visual impairment, and communication needs. You will provide person-centred support with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, and community access, while promoting his routines and safety.

You will follow care plans and risk assessments, work as part of a supportive team, and participate in activities the client enjoys, including music and outings.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, or complex needs (desirable).
  • Experience supporting individuals who communicate non-verbally (desirable).
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred care approaches (desirable).
  • Experience working within social care, supported living, residential care, education, or healthcare settings (desirable).

Rate of Pay: £13.50 Days, £14.00 Waking Nights
Contract: 36 Hours Per Week Covering Days, Weekends and Waking Nights
